Kaptivation was a grandson of the immortal El Shaklan.  His sire Amir El Shaklan, now deceased, was one of Australia's leading sires. His dam, Kreoluka, was a daughter of Silver Scenario, a grandson of Bask.  Kaptivation was a look alike full brother to Fairview Klassique. 

Kaptivation was a very imposing horse with great presence and dynamic movement.  He had a very brief show career and had been retired for a number of years.  Kaptivation, counts among his awards 1997 New Zealand National Reserve Champion Stallion.  His wider family is very strong in both halter and performance.  Kaptivation had also proven his worth as a sire.  He was the sire and grandsire of halter champions, and his sons are now starting to show their ability in endurance.  We have retained five his daughters.
